Assessment of Learning Outcomes

Based on Permendikbud RI Number 23 of 2016 concerning Process Standards, assessment of student learning outcomes in basic education includes aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Assessment of learning outcomes by educators aims to monitor and evaluate the process of progress in learning, and improvement of learning outcomes of students on an ongoing basis (Permendikbud RI Number 23 of 2016 concerning Process Standards)

In the Republic of Indonesia’s Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2015 concerning the assessment of learning outcomes by educators and teaching units in primary and secondary education. Learning outcomes are the process of collecting data information about student learning outcomes in the aspects of attitudes, aspects of knowledge, and aspects of skills that are carried out in a planned and systematic manner to monitor the process, increase learning, and improve learning outcomes through assignments and evaluating learning outcomes.

Learning outcomes must be identified through information on measuring mastery of the material and aspects of behavior both through the test and non-test techniques. Mastery of the material in question is the degree of competency achievement of learning outcomes that are based on basic competencies as desired in the standard process and is expressed in aspects of behavior which are divided into cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

The activities in the LKS are designed to be carried out independently by students with minimal parental or teacher guidance. Parents or teachers can read out the commands in each question if students do not understand the instructions.

This LKS material covers six topics that can be used in grade 1. The six topics are: Numbers and Number Sensitivity, Number Patterns and Patterns, Number Exploration, Place Value, Addition and Subtraction, and Simple Measurement.

Making Agreements with Children Making agreements with children at the beginning of the learning period at home is very important to build commitment and responsibility for children to carry out their duties voluntarily and with joy.

This collective agreement requires the involvement of all family members at home. The guidelines below can be used to develop collective agreements.

TIPS for Making Agreements with Children

  1. Involve All Family Members.
  2. Make a written agreement.
  3. Focus on what matters.
  4. A little. List some things the child can do consistently.
  5. Using positive language. Write down what you want to achieve.
  6. Discuss together the consequences, if the agreement is not implemented.
  7. Review the agreement if problems arise.

Develop a Joint Schedule

Schedules can guide children to carry out activities according to predetermined goals and times. The schedule can be used as a reference for reaching together (especially parents and children). The schedule should include at least 3 things, activities, time, indicators of success. Give adequate rest time or time to refresh between main activities.
